Well, it is primered. FINALLY! We have been sanding forever as of now. Itching to no end. Now that it is primered (primed?) we get to sand some more. At least it is a different color. Just something different is nice. So, it is Seafair weekend, (for those of you not in the area, this is a HUGE race weekend for millions of boat fans in Seattle.) Anyways, it's Seafair, and we have been watching fellow drivers and crews on national TV, and choosing to stay home and work on ours was a hard choice. We are recording it, but here we are, at the shop, sanding on the boat. STILL. We will have it race ready by our next race, which is in a little under 3 weeks from now. We are now down to 11Th in the nation, so our dream of the top 5 this year is pretty much nil. There is always next year, new sponsors, new paint job. For now, I think the boat will be known as "The Ghost", being it will be a spiffy color of gray primer! We are looking at different colors of gray primer, but let's be honest here, primer is primer no matter what shade of gray it is. That is why it is known as gray primer. Or primer gray to the REAL men. Which I can proudly say I am not. So, that being made clear, I can see that I am really just rambling here, and so I will cut this off now, and go back to my hole to sand some more! Ta Ta!!
